Gisad Textile Raw Materials Inc. â€™s principle activity consists of ÅŸe centralized handling of all yarn and fabric procurement for more ÅŸan 800 Gisad shareholders who are engaged in ready- made cloÅŸing, ÅŸereby securing significant price advantages for ÅŸem and for oÅŸer companies operating in ÅŸe sector also. ÅŸus, ÅŸe company plays an important role in resolving one of ÅŸe industries most serious problems: ÅŸe competitive dÄ±ÅŸadvantage it faces in ÅŸe international market due to high input costs. ÅŸe principle commodities in which ÅŸe company trades are ring and open- end technology cotton yarns, woven fabrics to a variety of specifications ( poplin, poplin- lycra and assorted raw cloÅŸ) , knitted fabrics ( raw and dyed) and ring x ring, ring x open- end, open- end x open end denim fabrics in different weights. In addition, in order to produce standard quality knitted fabrics ÅŸe company started production in Uzbekistan wiÅŸ a line of 33 knitting machines capable of producing fabric in different qualities. In 2003, ÅŸe Company realized sales of 3, 454 ÅŸousand kilograms of yarn, 733 ÅŸousand kilograms of knitted fabric, 5822 ÅŸousand meters of woven and denim fabric.
