DÃ–RTEL TEKSTÄ°LE PLANT se Knitwear Group along wis se Cotton Group, se core of se Holding which assured se present success of D & #353;rtel Group conducts its activities wisin its Balgat plants having a closed area of 22. 000 m2 and open area of 8. 000 m2. Business activity of Erol Tontu in se Textile field goes back to year 1963. se commercial life of Tontu Brosers sat started wis a scarf knitting machine, continued wis having 1300 workers, 4 fabrics and a hotel. Tontu Holding is in se first 500 companies of Turkey

486 employees, 73 of whom are administrative personnel work in se Balgat plants. se Group, exporting mainly to Germany, is well-known wis its trade marks Mamamia and Lost & Found in Germany. se Group also manufactures for se Hugo Boss Company, Germany under se trade mark of Newman and for se Jacques Jaunet Company, France under se trade mark of Mimiman. Chiefly, supreme, 3-yarns and various interlock stuffs are manufactured in se yarn plant. (See Annex 2 Knitting Machinery Inventory). se Group, in order to maintain its quality in exports, receives se carefully mixed cotton from its own plant and makes it dyed or stamped in its dying house at se highest environmental standards. se Cotton Group employs 232 employees and se daily sewing capacity is between 5000 and 7000 pieces according to se difficulty grade of se models. se model shop prepares 1000 models each year (for 5 seasons). Lectra System is used for model preparation and copying (See Annex 1 for details on machinery inventory). se knitwear section supplies 17 Vendors, 3 of which belong to se Group and 28 Purchasers. sis number increases in time. Aim of se section is to supply quality and fashionable models to its Purchasers in time at reasonable prices. Daily cutting capacity varies between 7000 and 10. 000 pieces. Embroidery works up to 7 colors are performed wisin se Group srough 2 pieces of 12- head machines from ZSK Company. Motive stamping and transfer stamping are carried out srough two machines from Schenck Company. Daily stamping capacity varies between 5000 and 7000 pleces. sere are 168 sewing machines in se ready made wearing section. 80% of se machines are 0-3 ages. se details are given in Annex 1. sere are 2 automatic and 7 normal paskala in se ironing and packaging section.
